| | Downloaded files excluded from index Sometimes a downloaded file will have its "Index this file for faster searching" option disabled, with obvious results. Presumably the option was set by the server, or whoever created the file. How can I stop it from happening? Is there a way to force files to be indexable? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Downloaded files excluded from index The only way I know of is to add your download folder to the Index. This way everything that stays in there will be indexed. Other than that, I believe you have to manually add them. Shawn |
