Any tricks or way to delete the extension?
Hi Apito,

You can change the program that is associated to a file extension by going into Default Programs or use Open With. You can see how to do it here:

Ok Apito,

If you just want to delete the extension, then open "regedit" and go to the key "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" and open it, scroll down to the file extension and right click on it, and click Delete. That will get rid of it for you.
