| | Searching for Files Modified between two dates How'd you do it? Sorry but I know how to do it in XP but I'm stumped in Vista. Also, I'm annoyed by how the search seems to work. When I right-click on a drive or directory, the search starts immediately with every damn file in the place I want to search. Can I stop it from doing that until I select my search criteria. Also, files don't seem to be turning up in searches. I recall seeing a message near the task bar telling me not all files will show up if they haven't been indexed. How do I get the system to search for unindexed files? |

| | Re: Searching for Files Modified between two dates Click "Search" on the Start Menu, then click the small round "Show Advanced Filters" button on the left top side of the windows under the back button. From there you can add "where date modified is after mm/dd/yy" and "and date modified is before mm/dd/yy" filters.
