Here is one! I have seen this 2 times now. i have had a folder on vista
disappear only to find it in some bazar location this has happened on 2
different computers.



The strange thing is there was a shortcut to this folder on the desktop and
still worked so I was baffled, when I right clicked the short cut it actually
pointed to where the folder moved to. So Vista will move a folder to an
obscure location and point the short cut to it. Anyone else run into this?

Could you provide some details?

What is the name of the folder?
What was the original location?
Where was it moved to?
Was the folder associated with a program?
