| | Folder has disappeared This was addressed in an earlier post, called "Missing Folder" (http://www.microsoft.com/communities...=en-us&m=1&p=1), but the poster's problem seemed to have resolved itself. I'm having a similar issue, and really need this folder. I was trying to copy it from my My Documents folder to a USB drive. I realised, right as it was beginning to copy, that I was forgetting to include some other things, so cancelled the copy. (I was copying, not cutting/pasting.) Vista started to cancel, giving a new progress bar that takes forever, like it does, so I hit cancel on that. Now, the folder's gone, gone, gone. On neither the USB nor in the My Docs folder. If I do a search for that folder's name, it comes up in its old location - but I've seen somewhere that that is probably because it's in the search index - but if you click on it, Windows tells you that it may have been moved, or on a disconnected network (not the case). How can I find it? Where did it go? Especially if I was drag-and-drop copying it, not cutting and pasting it. It's annoying the hell out of me, and there are some really important files in there. Appreciate some assistance. |
