Hi there

I cant seemed to associate .doc files with Word. They are insisting on
associating with Notepad. I try to associate it through the relevent window,
however despite clicking on the .exe file it wont associate. It doesnt even
add it to the "possibles" window.

Any one elese having issues with this? It is becoming a pain having to open
files through opening Word.

Hmm, mine worked correctly from the get-go and I didn't have to do anything
about it. Are you using Word 2003 or 2007? Did you try to the right-click,
Open With approach? (Not sure if that's what you meant by "the relevant
window" or "possibles"). If you upgraded rather than do a clean install,
maybe you need to uninstall then reinstall Word. But I'm just guessing.
