| | problem when using dvd data backup disk made with XP in Vista When I put in a DVD Data Disk that I made in Windows XP into my Vista laptop, I noticed that when using Windows Explorer in Vista 90% of the files were not showing on the DVD disk !!! What am I doing wrong? Why can't I see the rest of the files? None of these files are hidden in XP. I have Vista set to show all files. There were no error messages when using the DVD Disk. I even tried turning off UAC in Vista, but no more files were visible. Anyone know why I can't see the rest of the files? |

| | RE: problem when using dvd data backup disk made with XP in Vista Vista comes with Roxio 9 basic. It is not always compatible with the Roxio programs you paid for such as Roxio Easy CD Creator 8 (for example). What I did was to delete the basic rox 9 and install the full version of 8 on my vista machine. It worked.
