| Guest | Strict search on Tags Hi all; I have pictures with multiple tags. Here are some of the tags frm my list: "New York", "Seattle", "Paris", "An English Man In new York", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Les Chinois Ã* Paris", etc... Using AQS, If I try "tag:Seattle" I get all pictures tagged with "Seattle" but also all pictures tagged "Sleepless in Seattle"... How can i do a strict search on "Seattle" (without having to negate all other possible tags containing the word "Seattle")? thanks for your help - regards, -- Pierre |

| Guest | RE: Strict search on Tags Have you tried using another character instead of a space? Sleepless_In_Seatle or Sleapless*In*Seatle to distinguish from Seatle. I'm not sure what separation characters would work, however you could use a trial and error method of finding one that works for you. | Guest | RE: Strict search on Tags Thanks for your hint Michael - I don't think it answers my question though. I do not expect to have to alter the syntax of my tags (keywords, etc...) to solve a search problem. Tags are accepted and therefore, I expect the serarch syntax allowing me to make an exact search rather (EQUALS rather than something like CONTAINS) han a fuzzy search especially taking into account tags can be exported to other systems - thanks anyway, regards -- Pierre "2michaelt" wrote: Quote: > Have you tried using another character instead of a space? > Sleepless_In_Seatle or Sleapless*In*Seatle to distinguish from Seatle.
