| Guest | Moving "My Documents" In earlier versions of Windows, it was easy to move the "My Documents" folder to another location. Right-clicking on the folder on the desktop, and choosing Properies, there was the coice. And so all programmes wood point to the new location for saving or opening files. I think it is a good idea to keep this main folder in a different partition in case of needing to format C: and install Windows from scratch. But in my Vista Home Premium, I can't find how to do this. Right-clicking does not give the Properties choice any longer. Anyone who have found the way? |

| Guest | Re: Moving "My Documents" In Vista the "My Documents" has been replaced with "Documents" under c:\Users\(youraccount). You can do what you want to this folder. If you see a file named "My Documents", it's not a real folder, but a junction point. It's there for older programs that are looking for it. Don't try to open or use it.
