weird graphics problem

hi i wope someone can help me i have a weird problem i have a 7900gt oc core
2 q6600 2gig ddr2 my problem is i can play c&c3 and some other games but when
i try to play battlefield2 or ut3 the game loads but the screen goes all
weird and the colours streak acrose the screen i can reset it by alt tabing
out of the game then cntr alt del then i press mouse button 1 and it goes
back to the windows log in screen and my screen returns to normal i hope
someone can help me thanks

Try to install actual Forceware and reinstall DirectX. If this doesnt fit,
u'll have to reset your 7900GT Core to normal settings!

my graphics card was oc from the factory so its at normal settings i have
all the latest nvida drivers iv even tryed beta drivers i will try and
reinstall dx hope that will work thanks for your help

Yeah, those "Overclocked" cards that come overclocked have a VERY high
failure rate (well, higher than cards that are clocked at "recommended"
nVidia specs), It could be your card is failing because it's just failing or
the chips are finally being pushed past what they were speced out to do.

If you can use nTune from nVidia to lower your clock speeds that might help
the games to run. I'd have to say good luck at this point and to let you
know this is just what I hear. I'm not a huge over-clocker unless it's a
secondary system that I just want to play around with, but this is just
based on some stuff I read here and there.

You might just call the video card manufacturer, if it's under a year since
you got the card maybe they can offer you a replacement or warranty service.

Hi,

since a few weeks i have a similar problem with Vista home premium and my
graphic card ATI radeon X1600 (i know its's not the better card but ... ) I
can play windows games but I play Chess and Mahjong particulary the screen
does not display colors in the good state.
If some one has a solution , I will be satisfied because it's a real problem
But incredible this problem doesn't appears for the others games !!!!!!
