| | Games requires DX9c of higher Tried to install NFS Most Wanted on my Vista system (32bit Home Premium). However, the game cancelled the installation, stating it couldn't install it onto a system that did not have dx9c or higher installed, and suggested I install it, before trying again. Obviously, that's not an option, so how do I work around this problem? I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. Many thanks in advance. -- Allan |

| | Re: Games requires DX9c of higher You need to install DirectX 9c. You can find it on the Microsoft web site. Vista has DX10, but it is missing certain DX9c components (easy explaination). | | Re: Games requires DX9c of higher Sounds like a faulty version check in the installer. Have you tried running the installer with the XP SP 2 compatibilty mode? -- Chuck Walbourn SDE, XNA Developer Connection This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. |
