| | help with java I just got a new pc with windows vista. I play games on iwin. I am having trouble getting my timer to work on the site. Before with xp I had to go into my internet options and make sure the java box was unchecked. I did that with this but it didn't fix it. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks. | | Re: help with java Hi Tonya, This sounds like a settings issue. If using IE7, please try the following: 1.. Open an Internet Explorer 7 browser window. 2.. Click on the Tools menu in the upper right of the window. 3.. Choose Manage Add-Ons and then select Enable and Disable Add-Ons. 4.. Click on Sun Java Console. 5.. Make sure the radio button at the bottom is set to Enable. 6.. Click OK. 7.. Close the window. 8.. Open a new IE7 browser window and go to the game site -- Cheers, Windows_XP_MVP_Shell/User Jimmy S. http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Visit my MSN Games and Windows Gaming Help Site: www.msce.mvps.org MS Games Help and Support Center: http://support.microsoft.com/?pr=gms My advice is donated "AS IS" without warranty; nor do I confer any rights. _________________________________________________________ Tonya Wrote: ================= | I just got a new pc with windows vista.
