Vista - Game will not in XP sp2 compatability mode!

I'm tring to run a game called trackmania original and it says I need to run
it on any os through win95 - xp sp2 (except NT 4) and it still says that even
when I run it in compatability mode for xp sp2. How can I make it think i'm
running xp sp2?

Hi James29,

From the dropdown menu where you chose Windows XP SP2,
try another compatibility option such as Windows 95 / 98.

I tried that and it said that it cannot be ran in compatibility mode.

Compatibility Mode works with many but not all programs.
Check with the game manufacturer about Windows Vista compatibility and
ask other users of that game.

You may need a patch/update or a newer version to run on Windows
Vista.

Processor - AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 5600 (2.8 ghz)
HDD - 250 GB iSCSI hdd
Graphics - ATi Radeon X1300 pro @ 1280 x 1024
Sound Card - Sigmatel HD 7.1 channel audio CODEC
