I'm tring to run a game called trackmania original and it says I need to run
it on any os through win95 - xp sp2 (except NT 4) and it still says that even
when I run it in compatability mode for xp sp2. How can I make it think i'm
running xp sp2?

Hi James29,

From the dropdown menu where you chose Windows XP SP2,
try another compatibility option such as Windows 95 / 98.

I tried that and it said that it cannot be ran in compatibility mode.

Compatibility Mode works with many but not all programs.
Check with the game manufacturer about Windows Vista compatibility and
ask other users of that game.

You may need a patch/update or a newer version to run on Windows
Vista.

There is a patch. The patch does not work.

Then you should contact the game makers and ask them for a patch that works.
If there's a patch and you can't get the patch to work, "get it to work"
then respond here if it didn't help.

Include system specs please.
