Vista - CHESS TITANS DOES NOT SAVE GAMES

I have vista with chess titans. I can start and play games with no issues.
If I ever try to close during a game and save, everything seems to act
normal, but the games don't save. I get a prompt asking me if I'd like to
save and I click yes. Upon reopening, I get a new game every time.

I went to HP help and they tried to talk me into buying Norton Internet
Security 2008. Pretty lame. I have IS 2007. The tech, "Hans," suggested
there's a conflict there, but he only urged me to buy 2008.

I thought about uninstalling, then reinstalling chess titans but it doesn't
show up when I go through control panel to "uninstall a program."

Can anyone help me out?
