| | Call of Duty 4 game I have a new laptop w/ a nvidia 7200 card. My problem is that after installing the game, I try to play the game and the mouse and the screen both move in a choppy fashion and you can not play the game. What can you do to correct this problem? Is there something that I can disable to make the game run and play smoother? |

CoD4 is a demanding game, even a desktop computer running an 8800 may not run it at full settings. Notebooks (with some exceptions) are not really great gaming rigs, they are designed for business Game usually chooses which graphics settings are best for your computer when you install it. If you changed those settings it could be why it's running so slowly. |

| | RE: Call of Duty 4 game I just installed an Nvidia 8800GT -512meg video card in my Desktop. It has an AMD 4800 Dual core, 2 gigs ram HD etc. I had an ATI x1800xt video card with 512 megs ram and running COD4 in 1680x1050 cause the game to run slow ( I have an Acer 20"LCD. When I installed the 8800GT it ran great. I run Vista Business. Sorry to tell you but a 7200 will barely cut it with aero turned off. COD4 is very demanding. I switched to a different motherboard, P5nD32-E SLI Asus, I also added more RAM like 2GB. So now my specs are Intel Core 2 duo 6600 Nvidia 7950 GX2, 4GB of Ram I get the same choppy ordeal, I already tried all that low spec stuff and still, Before I had it on High.. Any ideas? |
