Vista - vista installed games wont work

Hi,

None of my games that come with vista work. For example when I try to open
or play a game like solitaire. One of the cards is highlighted and kind of
pulses. In a game like Mahjong tiles, it opens and a board design is
highlighted. If I go to the game I can not move any tiles And if I move
around a few cards and then go to close the game it wont close,it freezes and
I have to use the task manager to close it.

Help please, can you give step by step instructions.

Hi,

I had a problem too. What went wrong with my games was that I updated my ATI
graphic driver and all the games, media player and media centre would not
work. So I unistalled this driver and installed the WDDM (Windows Driver
Display Model) and everything now works fine.
I dont know what graphic driver you are using, but this worked fine for me.
