Vista - All Vista Games Not Working Properly.

All of my Vista games are not working properly. At first they were fine but
now none of the popup screens that you have to click on a choice such as game
level, or if you want to exit only allow the use of the 'enter' key and not
the mouse. When I am playing any card games the cards are constantly
flickering and half the time when I click on a card it does not respond. When
I open any of the options menus I can not select any radio buttons or click
on anything. I have to use the tab key and enter key.
Can anyone help.
I am fully updated and have all current graphic drivers and what not.
