Problems with Sims 2

Hey, so I've installed Sims 2 and it works fine and all...
Last night I played it and saved it all and quit. Today when I went to
go play it again, none of the families I created were saved and it was
just like when I first installed it :/

I've wondered if there was a patch or something I could download... I
dunno

Any suggestions?

Run As Admin...

That should help if it's not being able to save...

have patches on the site. Click on the update button from Start, Programs,
EAGames, Sims2, Check for Updates or just go to the site and find them. I
play it fine with all the expansion packs on my Vista machine and everything
saves. These games are kind of buggy so you do need the patches for each
expansion pack, read the descriptions.
