microsoft flight simulator X


Can't hear narrator voice during lessons. Have tried 2 different sound
cards and updated drivers. Also have tried re-installed fsx.

Mainboard : Asus M2N
Chipset : Athlon 64 / Opteron HyperTransport Technology Configuration
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ @ 2200 MHz
Physical Memory : 2048 MB (2 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : Nvidia Corp GeForce 7900 GS
Hard Disk : WDC (160 GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : JLMS XJ-HD165H ATA Device
DVD-Rom Drive : HP DVD Writer 840d ATA Device
Monitor Type : Nokia NOKIA 445PRO - 20 inchs
Operating System : Windows Vista (TM) Home Basic Home Edition 6.00.6000

DirectX : Version 10.00
Windows Performance Index : 5.0

Helo there!

Try changing the sound settings in the game. Turn all the other sound
setting (Like Engines etc.) to 50%, and the Voice volume to 100%.

Works for me!

Thanks for the reply. Turned all setting a little below 50% and turned
voice to 100%. It still didn't work. Thanks anyway.

Don't look for it in Sounds. Turn it on in Settings/General. I don't know
why it's there, but it is.

all you need to do is veryfy the voice.have you installed any adonns?or traffic?
just to b in the safe side get editvoicepack,run it and make sure that you have run admin rights at the time of instalation and run the progi as admin.if the problem persit go to your PC manufator,but honestly you are not telling us too much about the situation in order to help!
