Vista - SimCity Runtime Errors

Hi all, I got Sim City Societies last sat. Have Windows Vista Premium (64bit)
installed and a powerfull configuration, with a GeForce 8600GT Vidoecard,
2gig mem and a 2,66dl core processor. DirectX 10 is installed and after some
playing SimCity societies my computer crashes with the following message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime LIbrary

Runtime Error!

Program: I:\P...

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

EA have are clueless, all they can say is that I should turn off my firewall
when connecting to their site, duh, as if. Hav eany of you an idea what the
prob might be?

Have you updated it, yet? There is a patch for it.
