Sims 2

I needed a patch to play at Sims 2 on my laptop because I have Vista but this
patch doesn't install because there is an error.I don't know wich type of
error.
What can I do ?

You need to rightclick on the patch exe file and run it as administrator.

Also, you might try running The Sims 2 without the patch. My copy ran fine
on my new Notebook without the patch.

If you're trying to install an Expansion that applies the Sims 2 patch at
the end of the installation, there shouldn't be a problem assuming the
expansion setup is running elevated.

If you're downloading the Sims 2 patch from thesims2.com, then do what
Darkelldar suggested, Right click on the patch file and choose Run as
Administrator.

If that doesn't work we'll need more information:

What is the make and model of your computer?
What version of Vista are you running? (Home Premium, Ultimate, etc.)
Specifically what is the error message you are receiving? When does it
happen?
