Free P2P action game.. Main issue is with Windows Firewall. I made an inbound rule remote IP (the other player) local IP 192.168.2.2 I am trying to block connections to certain players (hackers) For some reason even with an inbound rule against connecting to that IP it still seems to connect. It would be too painful to block ALL traffic and then make rules for each player I ever encounter from now until the end of my time playing.. is there a way to make this happen? -- Learned Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

sucks the big one. Find a third party solution. nVidia motherboards with network adapters usually have built in hardware Firewall stuff on the mobo. Installing the latest nForce drivers should give you access to their firewall settings. I used it for a while on an older system and it was perfect for blocking IPs on the fly. -- -A. |
