Purble voices?

Is there a way to enable the prompts/instructions to be voiced, rather than
displayed in Purble Place? The kids who play these games (at least the ones
that use my machine) can't read.

I don't know if Easy Access reads back text from games, but you could try
it.

Bring up Start Menu, type Ease into the search bar, you should get "Ease of
Access Center"

Set it up to read text on screen.

Try the game again once everything is going, see if it helps. More than
likely it won't work, but never hurts to try.
