Did you try opening your start menu and finding the Age of Empires 3 icon,
running it that way instead of running it off the CD autoplay?

You can right-click the Age of Empires 3 icon and choose Run as
administrator, this sometimes fixes problems with games that save files
where they shouldn't be.

Make sure you get the latest patch for the game from microsoft.com,

if all else fails, reply here with your system specs.

Re: My age of empires problem

yes i have tried that, i think i figured out the problem, i reinstalled it,
and it worked fine, BUT after i installed the patch it started doing that, i
tried it like twice now and its the same thing, it only does that after i
download the patch..
