Vista - Doom 3

Will doom 3 run in vista I have nvidia drivers although doom has not got the
game for windows logo on it ?

yes it will run, I have vista 64 and it works.

You don't need Games for Windows logo to play games in Vista. Vista is
backwards compatible with Windows XP games, if the game says Windows XP
compatible, you'll be fine.

So "will" Doom 3 run in Vista? It already does.

Yes Vista will Run Doom, But actually beating the game, that's something
else. I got to the hell level and gave up. I was too disturbing to go on

Yes, it will. Doom 3 was released before the "Games for Windows" was
launched, and well before Vista was released. But, it does work fine in
Vista.

Doom 3 runs fine on VistaX64. There are some small bugs in it though. When it autosaves and put you into the next level if you bring the drop-down screen up then is will say 'error loading' a certain wav file or monster, but runs great otherwise. The problm I'm having with it is getting v 1.3.1 to download and overlay properly. I can't find hardly any servers to play online.
