| Vista x64 Home Premium | DX-games crashing/freezing After working flawlessly for a couple of months, my machine now freezes after running DX-games. I can play for a few minutes before that happens. Sometimes I get an message "The graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered". Can usually see this message for 1-2 seconds before it frezzes. OGL-games like Quake 3 and Doom 3 works fine. My specs: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Core 2 Duo E6750, 2,66Ghz. (No OC) 4x1 gb. Corsair Twin-X PC2-6400 Inno3D GeForce 8800 GT, 512 mb. Corsair VX 550 w. Vista x64 Home Premium Have tried different Forceware drivers including: 100.65, 163.69, 175.16, 175.19. Have tried reinstalling Vista. I have updated Vista as much as posible except for SP1. All with the same result of freezing after a short while. Could anyone please help, and if I need to supply more info, just ask. |
