System Shock 2 Multiplayer?

Has anyone gotten this multiplayer to work on Vista? It seems to freeze
up for me whenever I attempt to host, or connect to someone after
inputting the address.

Other than multiplayer not working out, I've been able to successfully
play the game solo, with videos and all, having no problems whatsoever.

Can you post the solution for the videos, I had it working a while ago, but
reinstalled recently and can't get vids to work correctly (registering the
codec file in the SShock2 folder didn't work.
