I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but when I try to remap custom controls in the game settings, it stops me in many instances with the message, "That key has already been assigned to another action. Please clear that action and try again." But even when I do clear the action where the key has already been assigned and then come back to reassign it, it still gives me the same message. Most of the new controls I can adapt to, but the major one that's bothering me is the fact that it won't let me remap the middle mouse button to jump.



Also, even when I do successfully remap certain actions, they often don't end up working while playing the game, such as picking up objects or activating switches (even when the box pops up telling me what key to use in order to perform these actions).

Is there anyone who has any clue what's going on here or how to fix it? Any advice would be much appreciated.

it's because halo2 is a bad port from xbox. you can map your mouse
4rd(side)keys and the wheel when pressing. halo2 needs both mouse keys for
weapons.
