| | Windows Games It was the same in XP already, now in Vista again, and it seems to be in almost all the games that are included in Windows. 1) When closing a game in progress, it asks you to save the game. When you finish the game later on, the saved game remains and every time you open the game, it asks you if you want to continue the saved game, no matter how often you have finished that game already. 2) When losing a game, and you just don´t feel like going all the way back, or the game doesn´t let you go back, just close and save it, reopen, answer "no" to continue the saved game, and the statistics will for all time give you 100% wins. Now the games are quite well programmed, hard to believe the programmers could have made two so obvious blunders upon saving games, so what am I doing wrong, or how to fix this? Only 1/2 workaround I found is never close a game at its end, but always upon first move of next game and save it there, so at least the saved game will always be the current one. |
