| Vista Ultimate x64 | Older generation of games. Hi. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate x64. I recently discovered that EA had released both Commander and Conquer gold and Red Alert 1 for free download. I am having problems getting Red Alert 1 to run on my comp (haven't tried to run C&C Gold, yet..). Is it possible to get these to run? Thanks for your help |

| Windows 7 RC x64 Vista HP x86 | Re: Older generation of games. Hi, rewindurmind if I recall correctly although neither of these game is designed to run on vista there was a workaround posted on the original download site. if it's no longer there you may want to try a general web search for the fix as it was not originated by EA so is probably still available. am not a gamer myself but remember seeing it when I helped someone else to download it. |
