| Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit | 1920x1080 Gaming (Remove Black Frame) Tested and works with ATI RADEON If you get a black frame around your screen when setting a game in resolution 1920X1080p just follow these simple steps... Open Catalyst Control Center, click on Basic-"Setup My Display Configuration"-Go-Set Desktop Area to 1920x1080-Finish-Yes. After this when you start the game in 1080p you don't get the black frame. (If you still get the black frame just adjust screen with Scaling on Catalyst Scaling options) !!For me the scaling adjust automatically!! Note:if you dont like the way ur desktop looks now... Right click on desktop-Personalize-Display Settings-and set resolution where u like it,for example 1360x768. It doesn't affect the in game resolution. Works fine for me. HD Ati Radeon 3870x2 hdmi to hdmi HD Samsung LE40656AF1. Hope this works for you too. Last edited by panais; 11-30-2008 at 05:31 AM.. |
