| Vista Home Premium 32bit | The Sims "Not Enough Space" Install Error Whenever I try to install the Sims Deluxe edition I get this error message: ![]() However, there is also a Sims Deluxe Edition on the installed programs list on the "Uninstall a Program" Window. Whenever I try to uninstall this it says the exact same thing. Help! This game is driving me crazy! |

| Vista Home Premium x32bit | Re: The Sims "Not Enough Space" Install Error I have that exact problem and I have no clue how to get around it! Although, the error on mine also specifies that "there's not enough disc space free on F:. 2---". It's a pain, I'm telling you. There's nothing on the net that I can find that can solve this. |

| Vista Home Premium x32bit | Re: The Sims "Not Enough Space" Install Error Should have posted this sooner, but I solved this a while ago. I found that the Sims Eraser isn't enough, you have to go into the registry manually and delete the file for Sims. I can't remember any details, unfortunately, but if you look around for info on removing the sims registry files manually you should find it. There's one file for every Sims extension installed, and they are all titled as numbered codes, and it's vital that you backup the registry before deleting anything, otherwise you might accidentally remove a file needed for vista to work properly. I tried every method trying to get sims to work, but this was the real solution. I hope that at least points you in the right direction. |
