    Death Space players....

    Hi there,

I like to ask anyone who plays Death Space to let me know is SecuROM affect your computer in anyway and what you think of it being there. What do you think of the game?

    Cheers,
    Bruce

If you mean "Dead Space", it runs great on my machine. The game is AWSOME!!! I just finished playing it for the second time. AWSOME game!

With regards to DRM, Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Dead Space ran without issue. Well...we know Crysis has issues, but that's not due to DRM.

For me, I'm not going to let DRM stop me from gaming as long as it doesn't interfere with my gaming or system; thus far it hasn't.

If you want to know how people actually feel about the "game" itself, look here - Dead Space - Discussion - Rage3D Discussion Area

I'm telling you, you won't regret it, the game is just awsome. Please let me know what you think once you finish it.

Want to add that if you get a chance, check out the animated DVD movie "Dead Space - Downfall" It's the prequel to the game and gives some insight. It's pretty good as well.

Game runs fine but isnt anything special. I personally dislike when games
install components that arent really needed to play the game. They can cause
problems and take up resources. Especially as they do absolutely nothing to
stop piracy. The money spent on SecuROM could have been used to make the
    game better instead.

I know it has nothing to do with Dead Space, but GTAIV also comes bundled
with SecuROM that cost Rockstar $200000. They certainly could have used that
money to make to port the game properly. Or even add AA support.

Hi guys, thanks for the commend. I went and got the game that day.

Dead Space is definitely the game of the year to me. The animation "Downfall" is very well giving a background of the event. Just finished playing medium difficulty with a very surprised ending.
Now, I have unlock all the goodies and ready for the second round. I try to decide if should start in difficulty "hard" or "impossible". So what do you think.

    Happy new year!

    Bruce,

Glad you liked the game, and watching the dvd difinitely gives you an ideal of what's going on. I feel the same way - Game of the Year.

LOL - Once the game was unlocked, playing it the second time on medium was a little too easy. My next venture is impossible. Great game, great replay value. Scary.

Oh yeah... that ending was great

    Thanks for replying back.
