| | Renaming Games entries? I have a number of Games in my Games folder, and I would like to rename some of them. Surprisingly, right-clicking on these entries doesn't give me a rename option. Any ideas? |

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX. Now browse through the entries in here, find the one(s) you wish to change, and edit the respective "Title" values. I didn't see the same key string under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, so I assume that these changes are global on your computer. Note: Registry hacking can be dangerous, and serious harm can be done to the operating system on your PC as a result. Make sure to backup your registry - at a minimum the key/string you are modifying - before attempting any changes. Shane |
