Vista - Gears of War trouble.

After I install Gears of War I get a "Instullation wizard has stopped running and my start up code has been modifed. When I go the the main menu O the game and press play I am stoped and a message pops up that says it can not be played on a modifed code.

hello just modify your computer date like 16 april 2008.

Ok the patch worked great, but now the game plays long enough to get through the main screen options and cut out and a message pops up saying windows has stopped working and shuts down the game. What do I do now.
