Vista Tutorial - Chess Titans (Not another en passant)

Here is the pic. This really seems to be a bug, to me at least.

I'm playing as black against the computer. It was my move, I knew it was probably a lose lose situation for me so I moved the king to the corner and waited for the obvious. In the pic, the green line shows the computers next move where it moved the Bishop down to assist it's Queen. Now its my move but this looks to me like a draw since I'm unable to move my king and when I clicked on it, it would not let me move but it allowed me to move my pawns. I moved the one on the left and the computer Rook swooped in and grabbed it. I moved the pawn on the right and of course, the computer Rook grabbed it and as soon as it did, it called it a draw.

I've been playing Chess for a whole 3 months so I could very well be mistaken but this seemed like an obvious draw to me and it really shouldn't have let me move after my king was pinned down like that. To bad I wasn't in a better situation when this happened, I may have been able to pull off a win

A stalemate draw happens only when there is no legal move for you on the board and your king is not being checked. In the above situation, you had legal moves with the pawn and as long as you were able to move any of your piece legally, it wasnt a draw.

I see now. My mistake. There is lots to learn in the game of chess.
