| Windows vista ultimate (64bit) | Re: FSX or FS2004 There you go it's your graphics card which is not good, try putting in 512MB ATI Radeon 4850. Yes, fs 2004 is compatible with vista, i have both versions of of flight sim, works perfect without any trouble. Also your cpu is not that great try getting a quad core or intel core 2 duo (which one i don't know) get the clock speed like 2.6GHZ or higher. There is nothing wrong with your ram, hard drive, operating system. OK, here's what I just ordered: -2.66 GHz Core 2 Quad Processor Q9400 -Radeon HD 4850 512 MB DDR3 PCle Graphics card Look good? |

| | Re: FSX on Vista and the error message I found the answer to my problem! By any chance have any of you bought your pc from DELL recently if so this may help if not it still may help.... http://support.dell.com/support/topi...686&doclang=en "It is a Dell article but annoyingly doesn't mention the error code so is not so easy to find. Take care to download the correct version of the code for your Windows version, for me it was ENU (vcredist_x86.exe) which is for English 32 bit." once at this page follow the "solution" instructions and voila! The above answer was submitted on a dell community forum site. Cheers to the original sender Nickhay! -- marmac ------------------------------------------------------------------------ marmac's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/117508.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...es/1185818.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
