| vista 64 | Cannot install Directx 9.0c this was intended to be a reply to another thread that is since closed for being old. I'll start by saying that I'm trouble shooting an issue and was told by an admin that i should install directx 9.0c because 10 wasn't fully compatible with the game. I downloaded several redistributes like the others in this thread and tried to use them and the auto updater, to no avail, they all fail, most simply give me a internal error, and older types just skip installing all together. I even tried rolling back the registry number and deleting the temp files in syswow64, it does absolutely nothing, I'm not sure why it worked for them. I am currently running direct X 10, if this is important, and here are the logs i receive from the errors.
