Vista - Problem with MapleStory

I've asked a few others, and they don't know. (People from maple story forums)
Wondering if anyone might know and can help me out.

I've downloaded maplestory v.62 and downloaded the game client I wanted to play on. I double click on the the game to open, and the screen will turn back to open the application like it usually does. However, now it goes back to my original desktop background and it gives me no pop up warning or error or anything. Nothing. It used to play perfectly fine before, but why is it messing up now? Am I missing something on vista that I might of accidently copied to my external hardrive?
