| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Back-Up Vista Games I am looking to reformat my hard drive and want to save my game statistics (freecell, solitaire, mahjong, etc.) on my Vista 64 bit OS on my laptop. Is there a way I can back up these files, or whatever, so that I can have the stats put back on my laptop after I reformat it? I tried to find the answer online, but came up empty. Thanks! Obed |

| Vista Home Premium 32-bit & Vista Ultimate 64-bit both Service Pack 2 W7 Pro RTM 7600 32 & 64 | Re: Back-Up Vista Games The game statistics are stored in C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft Games\[Game], where [UserName] is your account name and [Game] is the name of the game. Note that the folder, AppData, is a hidden folder and in order to be able to view it you need to do the following. Click the start orb and type folder options into the search box. Press enter/return and the folder options dialogue will open. Click the View'tab. Under the Advanced settings: section, click to select (ie, check) Show hidden files and folders. Click OK to close the dialogue panel. For details on how to reset the statistics, see Solitaire statistics reset |
