| | Enemy Territory Graphics Issues Return to Castle Wolfenstien: Enemey Territory, allthough while it plays fast and smooth, has lots of DirectX errors in it durring gameplay, including texture map failures (where walls disappear for no reason and the sort, and I even saw at one point everyones head disapear from thier shoulders).. This is also yet another game that requires Administrator mode to play due to Punkbuster kicking you out if you dont have it enabled. |

| | RE: Enemy Territory Graphics Issues I have seen similar issues in a large number of games. One work around is to install the XP drivers. and only the XP drivers. This should fix the problem until better driver support is available. I talked with driver people in the last week. They main goal up to now has been performance and that there are many texture type problems like that that have not been fixed with the drivers yet. In the comming couple of months I hope this issue is fixed. But I am monitoring it because in my case the screen goes black or The characters are invisible. One option I have used is to ALT + TAB out and back into the program. Most of my programs recover enough to get another 10 minutes to an hour of play before it gets corrupted again. Sorry not a great answer. but this type of issue is known waiting on the ISV to provide better graphic driver support. My feelings is to check for new updates for Vista drivers and try them out. If it works great. If not at least maybe it will take longer for the corruption to take place. I can always fall back on the XP drivers until I get the required driver quality.
