Vista - Anyone tried EQ2 with the RC1 release

I installed vista and with all the eq2 problems I was having reverted back to
xp. Was wondering if anyone has tried the RC1 release and noticed any
improvements.

I had problems with EQ2 on Beta 2 (lock ups mostly within 5-10 minutes of
load up and login.) But the game works fine in RC1. It's a bit more
sluggish than on XP but only by maybe 5-10 FPS depending on where I am. I
play with very high graphics setting (next to the top.) However, the nVidia
drivers are still lacking and won't hold certain setting for individual
games in regards to AA and AF. But setting the general settings seems to
help but it's still not quite as good looking as in XP but I'm sure that
will come with fully supported non-beta drivers from nVidia.

My specs:
+4800 2.4 GHz AMD X2 939 pin
nVidia 7900 GTX
2 GB Corsiar XMS PC-3200 DDR 400 RAM 2.5-3-3-6 1T
Sound Blaster X-Fi extreme music
80 GB SATA Seagate HD (I also have 2 300 GB but this is a test install on an
isolated disk.)
Abit AN8 32X motherboard
Xion 600 watt power supply
Windows Vista RC1 - build 5600

Windows Experience Index - 5.0

This likely doesn't help you much but it's good to know that it does work
somewhere. What are the problems you were seeing and if you used beta2 are
there any differences? Giving your PC specs, etc would help toward
determining what your problem might be.
