| | What games *don't* work right? Hey guys, I think it's a good idea to try and compile a list of games that aren't working properly on Windows Vista at this stage. So if we keep it clean and organised like so: Name of game: Vista build#: UAC on/off: CPU: Video: Audio: Chipset: Problem and error messages: I'll try and verify with the selection I have here on 5728 and point this thread out in the private groups so some of the developers can have a look. Fire away. 8-) -- Paul Smith, Yeovil, UK. Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User. http://www.windowsresource.net/ *Remove nospam. to reply by e-mail* |

World of Warcraft 5600 UAC on and I am not sure if this is what is causing the problem (honestly it is also a little annoying, butI am chalking that up to its new and Ineed to et used to it) Athlon xp3000 2GB RAM Nvidia GeForce 6600 (PNY) SoundBlaster Audigy 2ZS ASUS A7n8x - Nvidia nForce2 Game launches and runs fine (music on launch screen is not there ay more). Once in the game it is almost unbearable. The lag (or chugging along) makes the game almost unplayable for anything other then just waling around a town. I have tried to mess with the sounds and the video settings to see what happens. I also just took a moment and closed the Sidebar which I had a bunch of stuff on as I noticed in taskman the cou wa running around 50 on that process.
