Vista - Battlefield 2142 and Vista RC2

Has anyone got it going yet?

I tried to play it online but I kept getting a punkbuster kick, something
that doesn't happen in any other games i've tried, and something I am yet to
find any good information on. So is it Vista or another problem?

I had the same thing. Vista is denying Punkbuster access to the filesystem.
Right click the game shortcut and choose 'Run as Administrator' then you'll
be fine. I've been running BF 2142 A LOT in Vista RC2 for the last couple
days without issue.

I'm in desperate need of an idea. I have bf 2142 I can run it in xp and as admin but I never get upgrades for weapons or ranks playing single or online. Has anyone had this prob and know how to fix it?
