Joystick or Flightsticks

It appears that my venerable and well used Microsoft Sidewinder
Forcefeed Pro is consigned to the bin as it seems neither Microsoft or
Creative are planning to support the Soundblaster Live 1024 cards with
the gameport.
It's a shame as I am very fond of it, but usb it must be.
Has anyone any recommendations for a replacement that is known to work
well in Vista?
Alternatively, does anyone know of a device with a gameport that will
work in Vista?
Another sound card perhaps?

The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro works great in Vista RC1/RC2 (x86) with the
built in drivers. It is a very good joystick, although it is not force
feedback. I like it much better than the MS Sidewinder joysticks I have
used in the past.

The gameport is dead (and has been for a long time) as a method of
connecting gaming devices.

Thanks for that. I'll have a look at it.
I do rather like force feedback, (flight sims use it to good effect,
IMO).
I did consider a gameport to USB adapter from Maplins. Real cheap and
I could use my present stick but you lose the force feedback.
