| Guest | Monitor turns off in-game! I have been playing Star Wars Lego II with a game controller, and because I am not moving my KB or Mouse, the monitor turns off after ten minutes... ....is Vista supposed to 'listen' for game controllers as well as the KB and Mouse? or am I supposed to turn off that 'Monitor off after ## minutes' feature? Or am I doing something strangely wrong? |

| Guest | RE: Monitor turns off in-game! That can appear to happen if your video card is shutting off. If your video card stops responding it will cause the monitor to turn off, and about 5 seconds later the rest of the computer will shut down as well. Try plugging headphones or speakers into the back of your computer. If the sound keeps going for about 5-10 seconds after the monitor shuts off, then it is most probably a video card error. | Guest | RE: Monitor turns off in-game! No, my computer/card is not shutting off... The monitor is entering sleep mode. And it doesn't happen through more graphically-intensive mouse-controlled games. Thanks for trying though. "Ice" wrote: > That can appear to happen if your video card is shutting off. | Guest | Re: Monitor turns off in-game! Surely that's a problem though? Especially now that Microsoft is pushing game controllers again...?
