Sid Meiers Railroads

After installing Vista I tried to install Railroads. The install screen pops
up, but when I click "install", the pop up screen closes and nothing
happens.

Anyone having the same problem?

Martin

Found the solution. I ran Railroads autorun.exe in winxp compatibility mode
and now it will install.

Interesting. I installed Railroads on Vista Ultimate x64 without any
issues. It just worked. The game plays nicely. It also shows up in the
Games Folder. Did it show up in yours? I ask because installing in XP
compat mode might have an effect on whether or not it shows up in Games.

Re: Sid Meiers Railroads

I didn't turn up in Games Folder. I might add that it's an iso file mounted
in Virtual CloneDrive. I tried burning the iso to a cd with nero, but no
files show up when inserting cd after burn. The cd appears empty.

Re: Sid Meiers Railroads

I used the retail cd. I just double-checked and it does not show up in my
Games folder after all. Sorry about that. I was thinking of Civ IV.
