| Guest | Vista Business has no games??? Not even solitare??? OK, I happily installed Vista Business RTM. But when i opened the Game Explorer, I saw zero games - no chess titan, no mahjon, no mines, not even solitare. I found this to be really sad. Was Microsoft trying to help all those corporate to stop their employees from playing games while at work??? What about employees who travel a lot and want to play some simple games on the plane or the train??? Also, Vista Business lacks some really cool slideshow features of the Ultimate edition. RC1&2 had almost converted me from using ACDSee to Windows Photo Gallery because of those nice slideshow options. Now I'm back with ACDSee. Any way to get those two features without upgrading to Ultimate? I can't live with Home Premium b/c it doesn't have full Remote Desktop. |

| Guest | Re: Vista Business has no games??? Not even solitare??? They are there but unavailable by default. In the Control Panel/Programs/Programs and Features/Turn Windows Features on or off. They should be there. "Wu" <Wu@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9FB86A30-B43B-434E-94AA-6C3CC42E9445@microsoft.com... > OK, I happily installed Vista Business RTM. | Guest | Re: Vista Business has no games??? Not even solitare??? Thank you very much for the information. It was really helpful as I've got my favorite Chess Titan back. Do you know if the extra slideshow features can be enabled the same way? I have a Windows Experience Score of 4.0, so hardware should not be the problem. I appreciate your and anyone's help! | Guest | Re: Vista Business has no games??? Not even solitare??? Thank you for all your replies. Both Photo Gallery and Slideshow feature are available with Vista Business, but within the Slideshow, there should be more than two themes (classic and fade) if you have good graphics card. With Ultimate RC1 and RC2, I have around 12 different themes within the slideshow, ranging from pan&zoom to travel/mirror, etc. I have GeForce Go 6800 w/256mb and WDDM 97.46 driver, so that's more than enough for these features. I wonder if Microsoft intentionally stripped these extra features from Business Edition to create product differentiation. "Jane C" wrote: > Photo Gallery is in Business Edition.
