Vista - Game C&C General and Zero Hour VS Windows Vista 64bit

Hi

Wanted to know if there is a way to make this game work on Vista 64bit. This
is the only game i play in spare time and i cant (dont work in my Vista
64bit)

I have C&C Generals and Zero Hour installed and running fine in Vista x64.
I just did a normal instal. If you need to apply the official patches, you
will need to right click on the exe file and "Run as Administrator" or they
won't work. I have Generals patched to v1.07, and Zero Hour to v1.4. The
game runs really well

Are you using a Standard User account, or the account that you created when
you installed Vista, which is a member of the Administrators group?

I have installed the 1.08 patch for general and 1.4 for Zero Hour and both
dont work. Task manager say "program not responding" both installed and
patch installed flawlessly.

I use the member of administrator group wich was created by the install at
start.

You should try launching the game as the administrator.

It does work, though I can only validate under x86 Vista Ultimate
