Vista - diablo 2 help??

ok i installed diablo 2 and joind a game and a min later it says connection
inturupted and gos back to the main loby then i create a game and same thing
i restarted comp same thing i even diabled windows fire wall and same thing
anyone have any answers for this? would be soo awesome if i can get this fixed

oh and i play css and it works fine

If you're using Battle.Net, that response is extremely common now. Without
going into a slamming tirade, which someone will only respond 'it's free,'
Blizzard has specifically altered the code of Diablo 2 in their latest
patches to reduce resources devoted to this six-year-old game, which they
never did program properly in the first place. B.ent, as it's become named,
is unstable, unreliable and truly a pain to play on. I would advise against
starting on it should you want to begin the game anew. If you play
single-player, make absolutely sure you have online space and an automated
back-up application specifically geared for games and their save/config files.

Don't get me wrong, multiplayer is the entire reason you get high-speed
internet, but there's already enough cheating and unreliable players out
there, so it's a risk with the network, itself. If you choose to use it
anyway, find a trustworthy site to establish a reputation. I'm not sure if
Microsoft allows links to such sites, so I'll avoid attempting it. Good luck
